It has been raining a lot at home which is good because we need water, but it is really bad for a motocross racer. I was excited to race this weekend and not only did we get more rain but I also got really sick. I wasn’t able to go to school on Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday I still felt a little sick. Because we got a lot of rain the practice on Saturday was cancelled and everyone was going to show up on Sunday and race. I was feeling better Saturday evening and I really wanted to race so we drove to LACR. Sunday I wasn’t 100% but I was feeling a lot better. It was fun to hang out with my friends and get back on my bike.
A couple quick laps of practice and then it was time to start racing.
My starts were much better this weekend and I was able to get a few holeshots.
The track got really rough towards the end of the day. My dad made changes to my bike before each moto and I was feeling very comfortable.
I had a few good battles with my friends on the track.
I finished with a 1st in Mini Sr 1, 2nd in Mini Sr 2 and 3rd in Supermini 1
I can’t wait for the next race, hope I am feeling better!
